“Something that we have religiously done since our twins were born, is get family pictures done with Sam each year. After the last 5 years we have now done 5 family sessions and 1 boudoir shoot. Being able to be so comfortable with a photographer to not only capture your family, but also be comfortable enough to do a risqué photoshoot is an absolute blessing! I honestly only felt this way because of how amazing it is to be around Sam and how beautiful she makes me feel as a mother and a woman.
Being able to look back at all the moments that Sam has captured for us is just pure bliss and I am forever grateful for all of her time and talent! Now, not every picture we took were we the easiest people to photograph… there were tears, early mornings, sleepy babies, and weather. But, here is the kicker, you can never tell from any of the pictures. Every single time Sam was able to capture the beauty of every moment. I feel when we are on the side of the lens, we are constantly stressing and trying to be perfect, smile perfect, make sure everyone’s hair looks good, everyone look at the camera. When you have the friend and photgrapher like I do, she completely takes all of that stress away and in the end you are left with beautiful pictures. Pictures that family members, and yourself will cherish and love for years. My grandpa to this day tells me how Sam’s pictures of us are on his desk and nothing else.
